School is finally over for the semester! Yay! I also have three and a half weeks for my winter break, because placement doesn't start until January 8th. I am so nervous, but excited! Speaking of excited... something awesome happened to me today! I have been very broke for a week or so now, but this morning a classmate messaged me and asked to buy two textbooks from me (that I rarely ever used) for $55 (plus I have $7 in change that I scrounged together - so I have $62 all together)! She picked them up not long ago and now I have enough money to buy all the things I ran out of; paper towel, kleenex, phone card, shampoo and healthy food. I have just enough for everything! Wooo! I love when things work out like that!
Today I have to stop by the school to pick something up, then at 1pm, I have a meeting with a local youth program to discuss connecting their program to mine. Then I'm going to the grocery store, coming home to clean and eat some food, then going to the youth centre to do a volunteer shift. Tomorrow isn't as busy though. I have a bit of cleaning and a couple loads of laundry to do, then I'm going to see my boyfriend for the night. On Saturday, I'm going with him to his work for a Christmas party. And... Sunday is my birthday! So my boyfriend is driving me home, where I will go for dinner with him and my family, have Oreo ice cream cake, open my presents, then go to the movies to see the new Star Wars movie!
Well, I should probably get ready to head out at 12:30pm! I hope everyone is doing well and enjoying the holidays so far!
