its been a long time

It's been a really long time since I wrote a blog! I'm so sorry... I was just super busy and distracted. Since my last blog, a lot has happened. I'll do that whole bullet point thing to talk about everything... and it won't be in any particular order either!

I made a group of friends at college! There are seven of us all together; one guy and six girls. I also made some other friends that I'm not as close with, but that I talk to and get along with pretty well.

My grandfather was in the hospital for the last two week of my first semester at college. I finished my work as fast as possible and got home a day early to see him. I got to hug him and tell him that I love him. He ended up passing away a few hours after I left. It was very upsetting and difficult to deal with. Rest in peace granddad! ❤️

I ordered a bunch of stuff online and now I'm just waiting until I go home again to pick everything up. Here is what I got: a vintage sun mug from the '90s, a coffin purse, a skull bag, a sun/moon drawstring bag, a southwestern knitted sweater, an "I need more space" shirt, a tie dye sun/moon tapestry, Rob Zombie's 31 on Blu-ray, a new phone case, a new phone charger and a 5th generation iPod nano.

Twin Peaks officially has a release date! I'm so excited!

I went out with my friends for my first night of drinking in college. We got a beer tower and everyone had wings, except for another girl and myself because we are vegetarians.

I got some awesome stuff for my birthday and Christmas!

I had a freezer cake for my birthday! I didn't feel like having anything fancy.

My dad painted two things for me for my birthday and Christmas; a black hole from the film Interstellar and a desert scenery at sunset from a postcard.

I made shortbread cookies during the winter break.

I went to Saint John during the week of Christmas to spend time with my mom and my friends. It was not a good week and I regret spending my Christmas there.

The only part of visiting Saint John that was good, was when I visited my best friend Kara and we had a sleepover. She lives outside of Saint John in a place called St. Stephen which is right on the Canada/US border. So we got a picture of us with the US in the background! So cool! Aside from that, we watched Rob Zombie's 31, ate junk food, talked about memories, video chatted with an old friend, got stoned and listened to music!

I went to see Split with a couple female friends. It was so nice to take a break from school and go out for some fun. The movie was really good too! So worth it! I even splurged for popcorn, M&Ms and pop.

I got some extra money and used it to buy some kitchen appliances, dish towels, dishes, etc. I made myself a little kitchen area in my bedroom and I'm so happy with it!

I went to see Fantastic Beasts & Where to Find Them for my birthday! It was amazing! I can't wait for the next one!

A few nights ago I was at school till 7pm working on stuff. After I got it all completed, I went to Sobeys and got vegan Mexican food, chocolate chip cookies and root beer. Once I got home, I put my fuzzy robe on, ate my food and watched Netflix; specifically the new episode of Riverdale. I'm becoming so addicted to that show! Its a new favorite for sure!

I passed my first semester of college with good marks, except for one class that I passed with a 60. I don't feel too bad though, because most people got low marks in that class.

That is all for now. I'm currently attempting to write a paper that is due on Friday and its really hard... ugh. Wish me luck!
