A very busy couple of weeks

♪♫ Ramble On - Led Zeppelin

The past week has been kinda busy, but this upcoming week is gonna be insane. The only thing I have to do tomorrow is get some cookie cutters and sprinkles. On Wednesday, I have school, then I have to go to an open house at the college I'm attending next year. Their email said that anyone who attends will receive a $500 bursary! I have school again on Thursday, then volunteering in the evening. Friday is the big day... I have to leave early in the afternoon for Brownie camp. We've got to set everything up before the girls arrive in the evening. And camp goes till Sunday morning. I've gotta be on my feet most of that time. I'm gonna be so exhausted. Plus I've gotta do craft preparations for camp whenever I have free time this week! So far I've only got a bunch of pine cones painted green for a cute Christmas tree craft...

I've been relaxing all weekend, which I've desperately needed because last week was kinda hectic. I've been at my dad's since Friday evening. I've mostly been eating leftover chili, watching movies, and browsing the web. I went out a couple times to stretch my legs as well. One of those times, I ended up buying Kara's birthday present. She asked for a ring from a little hippie shop downtown, and I delivered! Also, in the past week, I've ordered the rest of the Christmas presents I needed to buy for everyone via Chapters and Amazon. Feels good to be done Christmas gift shopping before December! I just need to get Christmas cards, wrapping paper, and wrapping supplies!

The beautiful ring I bought for Kara's birthday.

Spiderman Lego set for Bentley, Yoda bobble-head figure for BJ, Haunted Canada book for Kara, The Night Before Christmas for Bentley and Ava, and a bunny rattle for Ava.

These are the gifts I already bought a couple weeks ago...

Two nighties for my cousin, and a Beaker mug for my dad.

I'm sending Robyn the gifts that I bought last year and forgot to send (two transformers necklaces and a My Little Mermaid lip balm). So that means my grandmother is the only one left, but she told me that she just wants money, which means I don't have to buy her anything. I'm just gonna slip a $50 in her Christmas card. However, I am considering getting her something small. Its always nice to open something on Christmas morning! But I'm not sure if I'll have the money for anything. Money is always really tight this time of year. I'd love to be able to buy for more people, and pay more for each gift... but I just can't. I'm sure lots of people feel that way.

Well, that's about it for now! I'll blog again after my crazy week!
