The day after writing my last blog, I made my birthday cake! I feel like my cake decorating skills are awful, but people said otherwise. Its a red velvet cake with vanilla icing, just so everyone knows. And luckily Matt's dad made my favorite food for dinner; chilli! I also had a Heineken, then watched Wayne's World and Wayne's World 2 with the family. Pretty great day to be honest. :)
Today was awful. I was awoken by a call from service Canada. Matt and I tried to apply for disability, then his phone cut us off. He ran out of minutes. Ugh. So he had to run down and buy a phone card. I began cleaning in the meantime. Then when he came back, we called again. But we got really bad news; we don't qualify. I'm not getting any money. And I have no insurance to cover my medication. I'm beyond pissed. And I left two angry voice mails on my case manager's phone. She is a stupid bitch and never helped me at all. She only cares about her check. Ugh. I'm trying to work it out, but its not going well. On top of all of that; Matt is upset. Once again, he thinks its all his fault. :(
I finally finished cleaning in the early evening. Matt's sister was supposed to come over, but she cancelled. I was kinda disappointed. But anyways, I got ready for my birthday celebration. It took a while. And a couple people told me they couldn't make it while I was getting ready, which upset me a bit. But Kara was still coming, so I at least had that. But that was destroyed not long afterwards. She was two hours late, then texted and said she couldn't make it. I just wanted to break down. I pretended I was fine though. And I went to bed early. Matt eventually figured out what was wrong. We cuddled and he cheered me up. I hope tomorrow (my actual birthday) is better. :)
