So I had a pretty interesting time after writing my last blog. I got to go to the airport for the first time! My uncle's flight was delayed three times, so my grandparents and I had time to kill. I found two cute Victorian houses (not sure what the purpose of them was), got Tim Horton's (hot chocolate & a sandwich), took a selfie in the washroom mirror, and found replicas of the MacKay Bridge and Citadel Hill! Anyways, my uncle finally arrived sometime after midnight. And we quickly got to the car and headed home. We were cold and tired. But we did spend a bit of time together before going to bed. :D
Thursday was...somewhat unpleasant. My uncle left for most of the day and my grandmother was upset. She felt like he didn't wanna spend time with her. She thinks she is old and boring. And my cousin tried blaming it on me. Fucking hell. Ugh. Anyways, I got to try on the clothes that my aunt sent me. Only a few things fit me. My favorite thing is an off the shoulder black peasant top that will look great with the blue crushed velvet skirt that I ordered. I also got a $25 movie theatre gift card from my uncle. :3
I spent most of that day just watching Gypsy Sisters (guilty pleasure!), and playing Doctor Who: Legacy. I also made plans to buy a new charger for my netbook...since the original is no longer working. And finally; I ordered a Supernatural poster + a Lost poster for me, and a Tool shirt for Matt! So excited! ^_^
I was dealing with a lot of anxiety on Friday. No particular reason. I just forgot to take my medication for a week. Ugh. So I tried relaxing. But my computer was acting all fucked up. I turned it on and there was a green screen for a few minutes. What the fuck does that mean!? And of course; my charger wasn't working. Ahhh. So much frustration! I briefly considered buying a new computer, but I can't afford it right now. :(
I went to the mall with my grandmother in the evening. She was kind enough to buy me a new charger for my netbook. So glad I can use my computer again! We went to Sally's after that. I bought a couple jars of blue hair dye and blue lipstick. Then we went to the drug store. My grandmother bought me a bunch of stuff that I needed. I'm so grateful! We also went to the grocery store for some food. And finally; I got hair elastics at the dollar store. :)
Oh and I ordered something else; a ying yang beanie. Its gonna be part of an outfit that I'm putting together. So yeah...I ended my night by watching Saturday Night Live and eating a wrap. Yum. :3
Yesterday I went to dinner with my extended family. I think its the most amount of my family I've seen in one room at the same time. We really should get together more. Anyways, I got to meet my new cousin Rebecca (she was adopted a couple years ago - she is sooo cute!). Plus I got to see some of my other cousins. Overall; the meal was great. I had beer and steak! It was amazing. :D
After dinner, my grandmother and I dropped my uncle off at a friend's place, then we went to the dollar store. I got a travel pillow and a birthday card for Matt's dad (his birthday is the day I get back home). We also went to Tim Horton's for a $15 gift card for Matt's dad...and a hot chocolate for me, LOL. Oh and I almost forgot; I ordered season two of Twin Peaks on DVD for Matt's mom! She already has the first season. Just missing the second one. And it was cheap. So why not!? :P
Today has been pretty lame. I had to go to the clinic not long after waking up. I'm having a hard time hearing out of one ear. Turns out its just water behind the ear drum!? I think that is what the doctor said. But yeah...its curable. I just gotta use a nasal spray until it clears up. After the clinic, my grandmother bought me some more things that I needed. Plus some nail polish and lip gloss. I'm set for at least three months! My stress has reduced quite a bit. I also got more blue hair dye at Sally's. I'm stocking up. :P
