Yesterday was a tough day. Early in the morning, I headed uptown. I actually ended up getting on the wrong bus though, so I was at the mall for an hour. I bought milk and a smile cookie from Tim Horton's, plus I already had an egg salad sandwich with me. It was a nice little breakfast. Then I looked in some stores...but I found nothing that I wanted. So I got on the bus & headed uptown, once again.
I got off the bus at the Canada services building. I was trying to get on social assistance, because of the rough situation that I'm in...but the lady was a huge bitch. She told me that I couldn't get on social assistance, because I was living in a one bedroom apartment with two other people. And she made it sound like I was a spoiled teenager who was too lazy to get a job. I live in a place where I practically starve, people go through my personal belongings, I can't sleep because of the partying and no one wants to lift a finger to clean a damn thing. I've tried, but it becomes a mess again in no time. I'm sick of it.
My mum told me that she'd let me live with her, if I got a job to help pay for things. So after the Canada services visit, I went to the Teen Resource Center. I spoke to a lady there who told me to come in next Wednesday and she'll help me make resumes and drive me around to pass them out. Then she gave me the address for the place to sign up to get my GED. I stopped at Mister Music and Topps Pizza along the way (I got a huge poutine & a glass of milk). When I got there, the lady told me to come in next Monday for an assessment. On my way to the bus stop afterwards, I stopped by the Native shop that I used to go in all the time. They've had the same cute dream catcher box there for two years. So I finally bought it...

So I got two appointments. I'm finally getting somewheres! I'm feeling a little better now. But I'm still somewhat stressed out. I just really want everything to work out. Anyways, I'm gonna go to the store. I'll blog again soon!
