A couple days ago I went uptown for the first time in a long time (to sell my old BlackBerrys, get money from the bank, get subway for lunch, buy treats, etc). I used to go uptown all the time, but for some reason I started hanging out west all the time. Anyways, as soon as I got uptown, all the memories came back. The times I used to go to Starbucks and the book store, the times I went to Eagle's Nest to buy jewelry, the times I went to the city market to get groceries and many more. I'm definitely gonna be going uptown a lot, like I used to. Its such a beautiful place, especially in the summer.
Yesterday I had an appointment with the school board to get back into school. It went pretty well. The lady told me that I'll be going back to SHS, which kinda pisses me off because I hate that school. I wanna go to SJHS. But oh well, at least I got into school. She said that shes gonna call me sometime this week with more details. My grandmother told me that before school starts, shes gonna send me money for some new clothes. I'm really excited. I need new clothes badly.
After the appointment me and my mum went uptown to Julius Pizza for lunch. They have the best fucking poutine in the whole world. I was so full afterwards, I couldn't even eat my slice of pizza, so I saved it. Then we walked around uptown for a bit and did a bit of shopping. I was starting to get really exhausted though...so we got on a bus and headed east. We did a bit of shopping east as well. And got some ice cream. :)
Around suppertime we headed to the theater to see Green Lantern. I ate the slice of pizza I saved as I waited for the movie to begin. To be completely honest I was disappointed in the movie. It wasn't awful. But it wasn't great. Maybe my expectations were too high? I don't know. I just wasn't into it...
After all the walking I did, I was exhausted when I got home. I collapsed into my bed and I've been in bed ever since. Its all warm and cozy...like a big hug from a giant fluffy teddy. :D

I should make a list of things to buy and stick to it, instead of making impulse buys and wondering why I'm always skint! :P
