♪♫ Hyacinth House - The Doors
I was going to wait till tomorrow to write this blog, but I'm struggling with insomnia right now. So, what the hell...I'll just do it now and sleep all day tomorrow.
Today is the one year anniversary of this blog! Thats right, one year ago today, I got bored and somehow ended up creating making a Blogger account. Yes, my blog name has changed a million times since then. But its always been the same material, archives, pages, etc. Oh my...its been a crazy year. I think the filed under section below is proof of that.
Blogging is truly one of my passions. I love having a place where I can vent about my personal life, without people that I know offline somehow finding and reading it. Its my own little space on the internet. Its mine, all mine! Muhahahahaha! *coughs* Anyways...I'm just really happy I made it a whole year. Before this blog I was switching back and forth between Piczo, Webs, Sub-domains and Blogger all the time.
I think if you read back on my older blogs, you'll see that I've changed quite a bit since last year. In a good way of course. I'd like to go back in time and kick the old me in the face. I was stupid back then. So very stupid. Not that I'm super intelligent now...I just have way more common sense. Honestly, I think for once in my life I'm actually completely comfortable and happy with who I am. :D
Happy one year anniversary to me!
Alright, now moving on...a couple days ago, I had a sleepover with Kara and Garnet. I got there around 6pm and Garnet was working, so I raided the fridge (an oven sub and Dr Pepper, yum!), watched TV and went on Facebook. Kara was supposed to show up a half an hour after I did. But I waited three hours. Thankfully she finally did show up though.
We watched Spun and ate way too much cotton candy. The movie was really awesome, but the cotton candy...not so much. It felt like it was trying to punch its way out of my stomach...gah. I felt so sick for the rest of the night. I had to lay down a few times. Stupid delicious candy...fuck you for tasting so damn good. Now I remember why I hardly ever eat cotton candy. It doesn't like me. :(
Anyways, when Garnet got home we all watched one of my favorite movies of all time; The Doors. I had brought it over because I wanted them to watch it and fall in love. It worked, 'cause both of them talked about it for a while afterwards. Yesterday morning Kara told me that shes had ten different songs by The Doors stuck in her head since the day before. Not a bad thing though! The Doors are amazing and everyone should go watch the movie and fall in love. P.S. Val Kilmer does an amazing fucking job at playing Jim Morrison. Mind = blown. ♥

^ Oh look its my favorite picture of Jim Morrison. ^_^
Rest in peace, Jim. You'll forever be my biggest inspiration. ♥
I've always loved Jim Morrison and The Doors, but lately...I'm like an addict. Its getting to the point that they might replace Led Zeppelin as my favorite band. That is something I never thought would happen. But their music is the only music that gives me a heavenly/divine/psychedelic/euphoric feeling whenever I listen to it. Especially my favorite song of all time; The End. One day I'm getting the lyrics tattooed on my side. ♥
Oh here, you can listen to it.
Yeah, I know. Its almost twelve minutes long. But trust me; its fucking worth it. Its one of those songs that could have a million different meanings. At one point Jim Morrison said that every time he heard the song it had a different meaning to him. That, my friends, is just pure genius.
Okay, well I'm really tired now. So I'm heading to bed...
