1. What is the first horror movie you remember watching? I remember when I was a toddler, my mom and her friend were watching Leprechaun 3 one night and told me to not leave my bedroom. I was curious though, so I left my bedroom and walked into the living room during the scene where the leprechaun saws a guy in half. I was terrified! Watching it now, I realize its super cheesy. But I only seen that one part. The first horror movie I can remember watching from start to finish was either Scream or IT. I can't recall which came first.
2. What is your favorite horror movie? I can't chose just one. I'll have to give my top five: From Dusk Till Dawn, House of 1000 Corpses, IT, Eraserhead and Psycho.
3. What is your favorite horror movie genre? Psychological horror! I like a good mind fuck.
4. What genre scares you the most? Body horror. It makes me uncomfortable to be in my own skin. I still enjoy watching it though.
5. What is the last horror movie you watched that actually scared you? Its been a long time since I was genuinely scared by a movie, but I remember watching half of Begotten about five years ago and it scared the hell out of me.
6. Who is your ultimate scream queen? I adore Katharine Isabelle and Jamie Lee Curtis!
7. What’s a concept that you’d like to see in horror? Hmm... I'm not sure.
8. What is your favorite on screen kill? Janet Leigh's death in Psycho is pretty iconic for me.
9. What’s your favorite horror franchise? Both Halloween and A Nightmare on Elm Street!
10. Who’s your favorite horror director? There are so many good ones! I'd say John Carpenter, Wes Craven and Rob Zombie.

So many good movies here! I definitely need to up my movie collection (or list of ones that I have watched all the way through without chickening out ;) )
ReplyDeleteI think the first horror movie I remember seeing was Arachnophobia. Probably why I have such a fear of them now. I remember IT and Carrie as well. My favorites have to be ghost ones.
