I always thought that Sex and the City was a show for moms, or middle aged women at the very least. I had never watched it and didn’t really know much about it.. other than the few quotes plastered on screenshots from the show that surface every now and then on Facebook. Anyways, I’m basically writing this because I’ve actually begun watching the show. And guess what!? Its not at all like what I expected. Its target audience seems to be women in their 20s and 30s.. hell, even 40s.. who are single with no children.. like me!
I relate a lot to the women on the show.. but mostly Miranda. She has become my favorite character, with Carrie as a close second. I love their friendships with each other. And I love their lives. All the parties, shopping, Chinese takeout, wine, relationships.. its pretty much how I picture my life when I move back to my hometown.. and meet new friends. I definitely need to find a small group of girlfriends! And a good man or woman to date..
Right now I’m waiting for M to bring me lunch in the form of an asiago baguette, caesar salad and chocolate milk. And I’m also waiting for season two of Sex and the City to download. I’m feeling pretty sick right now. I think I have some sort of nose infection. The side where my piercing was is now sore and I keep sneezing. Ugh. So I’m just gonna relax in bed...
