My appointment with my psychiatrist went well this morning. Although...I was high as hell from my painkillers. Which is strange...because I felt fine every other day. But I didn't go out at all on the other days. So maybe I didn't realize how high I was until I went out in public. I don't know. Anyways, I got another prescription and appointment. And I didn't feel like I was in pain or nauseous at all! Also, I got more texts from that creepy guy. I wish he would just fuck off. :/
Since my appointment went so well, I decided to take a little adventure to the mall. I knew it would be a good step towards recovering from my surgery and overcoming my anxiety. Plus I felt like I deserved a treat for all my pain and suffering. So I took $20 out of my savings account (along with the $25 I already had in cash), and caught a bus to the mall. I didn't even have to spend any time looking around. I already knew what I wanted. I had my eye on it for a little while; a Tardis mug! It was a bit pricey, but I bought it anyways. I also picked up some groceries, which included a new tin of mint green tea (my favorite!). ^_^
As soon as I got home, I unpacked everything, washed my Tardis mug, then headed to Subway to grab some lunch. The line up was really long, and it took a while...but so worth it! I got two breakfast sandwiches, which I took home to eat. But I made some mint green tea first, and obviously used my Tardis mug! Its my favorite mug now! So perfect for tea! And a lovely addition to my nerdy/geeky collection of stuff. Oh and I started my medication back up (since I reduced the amount of painkillers I'm taking). Going well so far. :)
Something quite unpleasant happened after that. I went to brush my teeth, and I didn't notice that the stitching came out on the bottom left side of my mouth (which is supposed to happen). But that wasn't the unpleasant part...my tooth brush slipped into the hole and touched the inside, which caused such horrible pain that I thought I was gonna pass out. I had to hold onto the sink. Then I reached into my mouth and pulled the thread out. And thankfully, the pain went away. I think the thread was somehow irritating the hole and that is why the left side of my face was in more pain. I'm just happy its not horribly painful anymore. And that the swelling has gone down a lot too. :P
I had a nice long bath/shower after that, then quickly cleaned my room. I didn't have time to finish though. BJ showed up around 4:00 pm. And he brought me a nice cold can of Coke. Wooo! We sat around for a bit. Talked about what's new and whatnot. Then I realized I was late taking my painkiller and had no food prepared. So he offered to buy us dinner at the place around the corner. So he called and ordered food for pick up. He ended up leaving late because we were busy talking. And while he was gone, I finished cleaning my room and made tea for us. I made him blueberry herbal tea in my Game of Thrones mug and I made myself mint green tea in my Tardis mug. :3
He came back with a bunch of yummy food, and we ended up watching The Blair Witch Project 2: Book of Shadows. He had to leave a little while after the movie ended. But that's fine. I get to see him tomorrow and the next day too. Plus we are going to see Carrie on Saturday! I'm so excited! I read the entire book in one night way back in high school. One of my favorites for sure! ;D
I've pretty much just been writing this blog and watching Doctor Who since then. I know my mum is gonna end up coming home and bitching about something again. So I'm not gonna get my hopes up about going to sleep early. -_-

Oh, your Tardis mug is super cute. :) I have not been able to try any of the breakfast sandwiches @ Subway yet, which makes me kind of irritated. I am up early enough to get there...but I never feel like walking over there or it is too cold. I hope that you were able to get to sleep early.

ReplyDeleteI wonder who the hell that creepy guy is that keeps texting you - that is so messed up!! :\ I hope it stops soon... can you possibly report his number to the police or some kind of authoritative figure (especially if it gets worse)? Ugh people are weird, man. That's so not cool, though!
