softer than satin was the light

♪♫ Blue Velvet - Lana Del Rey

I've had a pretty wonderful week. Monday wasn't that great though. I went to Megan's and we just played Scrabble for a while, then I went to see my boyfriend for a little while. He had to go home early. I hate that we never get to spend a lot of time together. :(

Tuesday was pretty awesome. My black and white chevron top arrived. Now my Twin Peaks inspired outfit is complete! I love it so much. My boyfriend came over in the afternoon and we got supper at the pizza place around the corner, then watched Get Him To The Greek and played some Super Mario All-Stars. After he left, I got some Subway and watched the new episode of Pretty Little Liars. It was amazing.

Wednesday was somewhat boring. My boyfriend had a lot of housework to do, so he couldn't come see me until the evening. I just killed time by watching TV and browsing the internet. I also decided to switch from Firefox to Google Chrome. Its much better. Also, my step dad got a thousand dollars for getting through his first part of college, so we ordered pizza, garlic fingers and pop. I had a hard time eating though, because I was having awful hiccups all day and heart burn. But I felt a lot better when I seen my boyfriend. We played Mario for a few hours, then he went home.

Thursday was my mom's 46th birthday. My used Clockwork Orange book showed up in the mail and it has the cover I wanted! I can't wait to read it. Anyways, my mom, my step dad and I went out for dinner, then went to Staple's, because they wanted to buy tablets. They ended up buying two Google Nexus tablets with a ton of accessories. I helped them pick out the stuff, because I know more about technology than they do. So as a payment, they bought me a 16gb flash drive. Immediately after leaving the store, my mom and step dad starting fighting. So my mom gave me twenty dollars and I went to Kara's. I stopped at the store first for a slushie and a pack of cigarettes, then Kara and I walked to the beach for a little while. My boyfriend wanted to see me, so I met up with him for half an hour. I wish I could have stayed longer, but my mom wanted help with setting up her tablet. I had so much fun with it that I didn't wanna give it back to her. I wish I had a tablet instead of a Playbook. :(

Friday was both a great day and a awful day. My boyfriend and I grabbed some lunch, then sat outside and waited for our food to settle. Once we felt alright, we went to the fair. We only went on three rides (Ferris Wheel, The Scrambler and The Zipper), because I had a panic attack after going on The Zipper. It was terrifying. I screamed and cried and begged to get off the ride. My necklace went up my nose and I thought I was gonna die. My boyfriend felt really bad because he is the one who talked me into going on it. I really didn't want to because I'm afraid of heights and I hate things that spin fast. But I was fine after a couple hours. We went to the bar and I had a couple drinks. I was scared because of my medication, but I was fine. We got some Subway, then he walked me home. I was supposed to go bowling with some friends, but it got cancelled. :(

Yesterday was just amazing. I spent a few hours modifying a simple Tumblr theme I found into an Audrey Horne theme. I'm so proud of it. My boyfriend showed up around 6:30 pm and we had an hour to make it to the movies. So I grabbed a poutine to go and we got a taxi to the theatre. We got there in time to get our tickets, grab a drink, use the bathroom and get comfortable in our seats. We seen This Is The End and I loved it so much! One of the funniest movies I've seen in a really long time. I wanna go back and see it again! Anyways, we walked around uptown for a while afterwards, then my boyfriend got a taxi home. Since then, I've been watching Bad Teacher and eating muffins. Yay! ^_^

And if you are reading this dad...Happy Father's Day! You are my inspiration and you mean a lot to me. I admire everything you do and I strive to be half as wonderful as you are. You are so smart, caring, talented, funny and you have a wonderful taste in music. I can't wait to see you this summer. We gotta get some KFC, ice cream and watch horror movies again. I love you! ^_^

  1. I love your new Tumblr theme, very simple and nothing too flashy like a lot of people out there have! Ugh, I can't stand that crap, lol. Something's gotta give, right?

That sucks about the ride at the fair, I can't stand rides like that, myself! I get so frightened on them, feeling like it's seriously going to kill me or something so I've banned myself from going on rides like that for a long time now. Six Flags in the 10th grade was the last bit of psychotic, fast rides for me. I'm glad you and your boyfriend ended up having a better time afterwards, though. Some nice drinks and Subway will definitely make up for the scary rides!! :D
