there are many paths to tread

♪♫ Pippin's Song - Billy Boyd

So...I have some great things to discuss in this blog! First of all, the day after my last blog was good. My mom went out and brought home pizza for supper. We spent the day together, watching movies and piggin' out. We don't get to spend a lot of time together, so it was nice. In the evening I went to the store to get some munchies, but it was somewhat of a scary experience. A crackhead asked me for directions and I told him I couldn't help him. Then he asked me to get high and I'm pretty sure he wasn't talking about smoking a joint. So I walked away. Thats when he decided to yell at me about how sexy I am, how he wants to rock my world, how I have a model body and other creepy things. Ugh. Whats wrong with some people!?

I felt really depressed for the rest of the day. Just feeling very overweight and ugly. My depression is getting worse, but I'm getting my medication soon, so it should get better within the next month. I hate having seven mental disorders. And I hate that I found out about half of them recently, because I thought I only had three. I want to be normal and happy, but its a long process. Very frustrating too. I don't want anyone to have to deal with me, because I hate when people get mad because I frustrate them. Blah.

Yesterday I had an appointment for my disability checks. Before I went, my mom dragged me to Tim Horton's and I was pissed because I had bad anxiety and I didn't wanna go. Then she dragged me to Giant Tiger to look at clothes. Ugh. When I got to the appointment, I was scared and uncomfortable. But it went well and the lady told me she would call me to let me know if I've been approved or not. After the appointment, my mom gave me twenty dollars and we went to Topps for supper. I had to rush home afterwards to shower and get ready, because BJ showed up early to see me.

BJ and I went to see Kara, although she wasn't ready when we were, so we waited at his house for a little while. His mom gave me vanilla ice cream and a cinnamon roll, which was delicious. Then his family helped me play Family Feud on my phone. Anyways, so when we went to meet Kara, the weather had switched to cold and very windy. But that didn't stop us from walking around. We had some pretty funny conversations and wrote on the concrete with chalk we found. It was a pretty great time. They both had to go home early, so I got a bus to Subway to grab supper, then walked home, where I watched the new episode of Supernatural. I also watched Suspiria again and some random TV shows. :D

Today I woke up early to a phone call from the lady who I had my appointment with the day before (for the disability checks) and she said I was approved. My first check will be $375, then after that, it will be $400 every month (until I get permanent disability). I've already gotten a lot of things that I need this month, so I'm blowing a lot of the money. This is the only month I will be able to do it, so I'm doing it! I'm putting $100 aside for groceries for the rest of the month (I have a mini fridge in my room & I buy myself snack type foods; my mom provides meals). Here is what the rest of the money is going towards...

» Two pairs of crushed velvet leggings.
» Two band shirts (Led Zeppelin & The Doors).
» Retro Duo (a game system that plays Super Nintendo & Nintendo 64 games).
» Super Mario World + Super Mario All-Stars (games for the Super Nintendo).
» Ginny Weasley Magical Mini Doll (I've wanted one since I was eleven, so I'm basically living out my childhood dream).
» Checkered hoodie.
» If money is leftover, I'm also gonna get an Elven brooch and a Evenstar necklace (both from Lord of the Rings; they have really cheap replicas on Ebay!).

I immediately fell asleep after the phone call, and when I woke up again, my mom said the mailman tried ringing the door bell earlier. She didn't answer it because she thought I was going to, but I didn't even hear it at all. Usually the mailman only rings the door bell if he has a package. If we aren't there, he leaves a note to pick it up at the post office. So I ran downstairs to check the mail, expecting a note. Instead, I found three packages stuffed into my mail box. So happy that I didn't have to walk all the way to the post office! Anyways, I received: two phone cases, a checkered skirt and a pair of blue crushed velvet leggings (all things that I ordered a couple weeks ago; just waiting for the David Lynch shirt now). The skirt is actually kinda small (its made out of really stretchy material), but it still fits and it will help motivate me to lose weight. My favorite thing is the leggings. They fit perfect and they're so comfy! ♥

Also, the $30 I put into my PayPal account finally went through, so I ordered the Psycho shirt and a Lord of the Rings Ring replica. I cannot wait to get them! ^_^

  1. Haha, I had to giggle at the crackhead, people are just like that here too. It makes me laugh. But hey, at least he complimented you! :P
I love those leggings you bought. I'm waiting to hear about some benefits at the moment because I'm having to move out of my Mum's house. We're just not getting on, but I'm looking forward to having a bit more independence.
I need to get myself a LotR replica ring, it looks so cool!

  2. Wow! I wish my mother and I had an awesome relationship like you and your mother do. My mom is definitely there for me 100% but we just don't have that connection all the time. Yanno? I wish we did!

You are not overweight and ugly! You're beautiful, inside and out.

  3. Dude, drugged up old men are the WORST. Sometimes I wish I could just turn invisible instead of having to deal with them.

Ah, blowing money is the best. Those leggings are gorgeous, too. Hope you can get everything off that list soon!
