As you can see, I changed the layout. I was getting really sick of the old one. I had it for a year (maybe even more). I'm in love with this new look. I think I'm gonna keep it for a while, until I get inspiration to make a new layout. My favorite part is the banner and the new font. I took the banner photo myself! Its my hometown Halifax at sunset. I can't remember all the changes I've made, but there is a lot. So take a look and let me know what you think. :)
Today was my first day at work (I got a temporary job at my cousin's work). I was half asleep all day, but I made it through and actually somewhat enjoyed myself. At lunch I watched my cousin and her friend have a smoke and since I'm quitting, it was difficult for me. So I bought an electronic cigarette and its really helping me so far. It was only $10 too, which is pretty cheap. Plus I can smoke it inside, because the smoke isn't harmful. :D
After work I was exhausted. My grandmother made us pizza and I had mint chocolate chip ice cream for dessert. And ever since then, I've been glued to the TV, watching My Big Fat American Gypsy Wedding. I hate myself a little for actually liking the show. But it has an addictive quality. I suppose that most reality shows do. Also, my grandmother is giving me a pedicure. I haven't had my toe nails done in forever! I'm excited!

That's really cool that you took the picture for your banner yourself! The cursive is really cute too.
ReplyDeleteAh, I'd love to find a job - been looking but no luck. I really should keep looking though, won't get anything if I just give up lol.

I think the layout looks fantastic. The spacing around the header makes it pop and look very crisp. And the background is really neat. I like all the little effects on it that make it look older. Plus, I love night skylines and purple... so we have a winner. Haha.
ReplyDeleteMy sister used one of those electronic cigarettes and it worked wonders. She hasn't smoked since... though now she's addicted to gum lol. Stick with it... I believe in you! :)
