right this way smiles a mermaid

♪♫ Moon, Turn The Tides Gently Gently Away - Jimi Hendrix

Since my mum told me we are moving, I haven't been able to stop thinking about it. I'm sooo excited! I have a few wishes for the new place. First of all, I want a bigger room with a big window and preferably a nice view. Second, I want the walls in my room painted light blue or light green...still haven't decided. Third, I want an unsecured WiFi signal in my room...'cause we can't afford internet. Fourth, I want to keep my cat. And fifth, I want a mini fridge for my room. I'm gonna buy the mini fridge myself though. And it will always be stocked with root beer and milk. 'Cause those are my addictions.

My mum and step dad are going to see the apartments on Friday and Saturday. I'm kinda pissed, because they don't want me coming with them. Sometimes they act like I don't exist...which is usually a good thing, but I'd like to included the apartment decision. But oh well. My birthday is on Saturday! It creeps up on me every year. Last week, I still thought it was a month away. But yeah...I'm pretty excited to be nineteen. I'm not gonna be drinking though. I'm kinda broke right now. I'm just gonna bake a cake and hangout with Kara, Garnet and Alycia. It should be a good time. :)

Monday was a pretty awesome night. I went to Garnet's and spent time with him for a while. We went to Kara's for a bit to see her and Bentley (I'm going to visit them again on the weekend. I'm so excited!). Then we went back to Garnet's to hangout with Alycia and Bj. We bought some pretty epic food from the store. Best thing ever? Fucking Ring Pops. We each got one. It brought back memories of being a kid. We also talked about our New Years plans and the show Weeds (which I haven't watched in awhile). Garnet acted sweet again...which still amazes me. I'm glad he is not an asshole anymore...well...he has his moments. But for the most part, he is doing a lot better.

Me, Garnet and Alycia went uptown on Tuesday evening. We got some information for Christmas help (when you're poor & you sign up at a church for free groceries, christmas dinner & gifts), then we went to Garnet's work to get his pay. Me and Alycia went upstairs to the hookah bar while we waited. A random Arabian man asked us if we wanted to smoke Sheesha with him. So obviously we said yes. I think it was apple flavoured. I suppose it doesn't matter, 'cause it tasted really nice. The whole time, the Arabian man was showing us pictures of his travels and practising his English. We even got free mint tea. :3

After the Sheesha ran out and we were feeling relaxed, we went downstairs to see what Garnet was up to. His boss still hadn't shown up with his pay and he had to be at his second job by 9pm. All of us had plans to go to supper, but without his pay...we couldn't do anything. We sat there for two hours, bored and hungry. Then, I finally had to go home. I couldn't wait any longer...I was feeling weak and shaky from not eating. Right before I left, Garnet got a little bit of fries for all of us to share. Just to give us enough energy till we ate at home (or at work, in Garnet's case). When I got home, I had pizza, nachos 'n cheese, crackers and milk. I pigged out.

I haven't done a whole lot today. Most exciting thing I did, is make a budget for the $250 I'm getting for Christmas...

  • Phone card » $20
  • The three Harry Potter movies I need to complete my collection » $60
  • Cabs » $30

  • And I have $120 extra. So I made a list of things I may possibly buy with the money...

  • Mini fridge » $100
  • Tie dye bean bag chair » $80
  • An MP3 player » $50
  • Supernatural Season Six » $70
  • Book Of Revelations For Dummies » $60
  • Divine Comedy 1 - 3 » $30

    1. Omg, I love harry potter and supernatural! Have you actually watched season 6 yet? oh god, please tell me you have so we can rant about it.

Moving is always fun! I hate the whole moving process but I love a new place to explore.
