i focus on the pain

♪♫ Hurt - Johnny Cash

While I wait for my fries to finish cooking (I'm making homemade poutine, fuck yeah!) I'm gonna talk about something awesome that occurred earlier today.

To start out, I've been having a horrible week. I've been feeling depressed, because its been snowing and stormy all week, therefore I haven't left my house and no one has come over. Thankfully, I'm hanging out with my friends all weekend...anyways, while I was laying in bed and feeling crappy, I started thinking of ways to cheer myself up. I came up with a small list.

» Get my hair done. (Already had that planned!)
» Get a piercing. (Once again, already planned!)
» Get new clothes. (I talked to my mum about it and she agreed to buy me a new wardrobe to replace my old one that no longer fits me)
» Get a job. (This one may take a little while)
» Eat healthy and exercise (I've been eating healthy, but as far as exercise goes...its hard in the winter)

So I felt happier after making the list, but it quickly faded...because I realized none of this stuff will happen right away...except for the eating healthy part. Then Tara texted me and told me she was coming over...

We talked for a little while, then she left. But a little while later, she messaged me on Facebook and told me that she has an apartment available for me to move into. I was super excited. But I stopped myself...I needed to ask questions. So I found out some information about the apartment...

» It has a laundry room. (I currently have to go to my mum's place to do laundry...real pain in the ass)
» As far as I know it has a garbage bin in the back. (Right now I have to keep smelly garbage in my apartment until Thursday, which is garbage day)
» Its close to a bus stop. (My current apartment is close to a bus stop as well, but its always nice to have)
» Its within walking distance of a pizza shop, corner store and frame store. (not that I'm gonna need to go to a frame store a whole lot...)
» Parking! (No, I don't own a car, but my friends do...and I currently live in a building with no parking...wtf?)
» Security. (Theres no security here...enough said)

So I pretty much wanna move in...right now. It sounds amazing. Tara told me she has to work out a few details and she'll let me know if/when I can move in. So yay! I'm pumped! Oh and I did a bit of creeping on Google Maps to find what it looks like...

Unless Google Maps failed me and this isn't the place...which I hope isn't the case, haha. Anyways, its kind of a townhouse-looking apartment building. Just like the one I live in now (except I have no awesome features and my building is red).

For some reason I'm severely addicted to change. Things changing in my life makes me feel happy and I have no idea why. I could move once a year and be completely okay with it. Its weird...
