Usually I find taking the bus boring, but this time I actually had fun. I listened to music, read a book, talked to my grandmother (shes staying with me for a week) & ate junk food most of the way. I got a bit of sleep, but not much. Then finally I arrived at my destination after five hours. My first thought was "Theres no place like home". Seriously. I was so happy, I felt like breaking out into a song & dance.
Oh & heres some pictures I took along the way...
When I walked in the door my mum was in my apartment, sleeping on my coach. She had bought me some groceries & cleaned a bit (which I'm very thankful for). She stayed for a bit, but I was really tired. So she left & I fell asleep. I woke up a few hours later, with my best friend Robyn standing over me. It scared me & my first thought was "what the fuck are you doing here?". She explained that my grandmother let her in & since I was sleeping, they went out for coffee together. Then she gave me some gorgeous homemade earrings & I gave her the friendship bracelets that I mentioned in my last blog. After that we hung out for a bit.
Yesterday was an amazing day. I had $100 & I was on a mission to find a rainbow tie dye sweater. It took a few hours, but I finally found one. It was the last one too! I also bought a hemp necklace & some pins. So altogether it was about $80. Then I headed to McDonalds to get some food. I was going to catch the bus after that, but somehow, I ended up hanging out with a bunch of people. Usually my anxiety would have me screaming & running for the hills, but I actually stayed & had a good time. I think I'm finally coming out of my shell.

I love coming home after vacation. It's kind of refreshing and relieving just to be home again. It's a great feeling (: Sounds like you had a great day. I love walking around shops and going out to lunch and indulging myself in fast food, which I don't get to do often so it's a great treat. I really like your sweatshirt (:

Hehehh, after a while away from home I always say that to myself "There's no place like home" then promptly fall asleep. Your Mum is so kind to have done the cleaning and groceries. :)

Coming home after a vacation always reminds you of how much you missed it. It seems like you had a lot of fun with your grandma and friend. I like the stuff you bought, especially the buttons. I love questions to, here's one: If you could become any fictional character, who would you be?
