♪♫ What Is & Should Never Be - Led Zeppelin

*stands up* My name is Deidre & I have a shopping addiction. Last time I blogged, I thought I might...but now I know I do. I went shopping again today...*gets emotional* I just...can't control myself...okay, so its really not that bad. I only spent $20 & it was money that I didn't expect to find when I checked my bank account. Anyways, here is what I bought...

Supernatural magazine w/ a Jared Padalecki Poster.
Tea bag holders.
Chocolate milk.
Lemonade vitamin water.
Turtles chocolates.

Plus I got my prescription filled (Prozac). I've been taking it for three months (for depression & anxiety) & its been going really good. I'm feeling happier than ever! Also, I've started reading a book called Healing From Depression by Douglas Bloch. I'm really enjoying it so far & its a great book to read if you suffer from depression/anxiety or know someone who does.

I'm hungry, tired & bored. So I'm going to get something to eat, lay down & find something to do. Goodbye!

  1. Deidre! I'm not sure if you will remember me or not but we used to be affiliates quite a while back. I've just recently reopened my blogging site and am hoping some people remember me :P.

I too have a shopping addiction! Gosh I wish I had more money to buy stuff. Being a poor student is not good when you are a shopping addict! You managed to get quite a lot out of $20 though. I would have spent that on just on top *hangs head in shame*.

I'm glad to hear that you are starting to feel better :). I struggled with minor depression a few years back and understand the road to recovery can be difficult but do not give up. You will come out a stronger person :).

  2. Hooray :)! I'm glad some people remember me ehe. Awww thank you so much I'm glad you like it. I've been very well thank you. Looking forward to going into my second year at University in a few weeks. How are you (:?

  3. Oooh you will love it when you start though. It's much different to High School. Do you have any idea what you'd like to study yet? And yes I saw that from some of your older blog posts. That's really cool! I'm hoping to move out next year it's just trying to sort our money and what not. There's no jobs for students round here and it's difficult to get by just on a loan from University. It's also scary to know I'm in debt before I'm 20 ... eeek!

  4. Oooh awesome! I had planned to do that at first but ended up in Science. I may still get into teaching though it seems like such a worth while thing to do xD

  5. It's funny, the most craziest, memorable, and valuable time in my life was when I was clinically diagnosed with depression.

It's crazy how family/friends have no clue what you're going through. They want to understand and they think that it's just someone who's "sad", (which is annoying) but they'll never "get" it.

    Everyone experiences it differently.

  6. Deidre, just a little note to say I love you!
I'm sorry I haven't called lately but the last
time I tried an automated voice (HAL 9000)
told me that my calling card had already
expired. Apparently they have a time limit.
Anyhow, as soon as I can buy another one
I will call. Hope all is well with you,
and remember that regardless of what someone
else may think (not saying that they are)you
are worth so much more to me and a lot of
others than can be expressed through language.
Try to keep in mind that this is your final
Highschool year, after that you're free.
